Okay. So anyone who follows me knows that I have an absolute weakness for jealous!Blaine. So often, not only in canon but fanon, Blaine is the one sought after. He’s the one singing suggestive songs to an older guy with the boy crushing on him singing background and being supportive while his heart breaks. He’s the one getting tore up from the floor up and making out with a girl and then going out with her as he questions his sexuality, again with the boy crushing on him in the background trying to be supportive while his heart breaks. And let’s be honest. Sebastian is hotter than Chandler.
So, anytime I find a story that gives me Kurt being sought after and Blaine realizing that oh, yes, Kurt Hummel is a hot piece that others want, it gives me a serious happy. Especially since Blaine oftentimes deals with his jealousy in such yummy ways.
So, for my anons who have asked, here is a list of some of my favorites.
Discovering Jealousy Blaine Anderson’s Five Steps to Embracing His Jealous Side (+ Bonus for being exactly who he is). by janrea (K+)
This is a lovely little fic in the Five Times and One Time vein. It starts early in Kurt and Blaine’s relationship, and Blaine is shocked to discover that he is prone to the green eyed monster. Mostly yummy fluff and a delightful read.
One Million Invisible Lines by Cimmerians (NC-17)
Now, we all should know by now that Cimm could write a How To piece on tying your shoes and it would be mind blowingly hot and sexy. This is probably the fic that introduced me to jealous!Blaine, and what can I say? An addiction was born. Go hard or go home.
Anyway, in this lovely story (circa the end of S2), Kurt finds himself wanting more from their relationship. But after his impassioned speech about a touch of the fingertips being the pinnacle of sexy to him, he doesn’t know how to tell Blaine what he wants.
But suddenly, out of nowhere there seems to be cute gay guys everywhere, all of which seem to find Kurt hot. He gets hit on at the movies, the coffee shop, the mall…and Blaine definitely notices. And reacts in a yummy, physical way. So, Kurt encourages the flirtations so that Blaine will continue to touch him in such an amazing way. Things get a little hectic, but they all work out and hot sexytimes ensue. This is Cimmerians writing here, so prepare to have your mind blown in the best and hottest way possible. And maybe read in the privacy of your bedroom. With a change of underwear handy. Just in case.
Finders Keepers by sotto-voice (PG-13)
Kurt and Blaine technically tagged along on Blaine’s dad’s New York business trip so that they could tour college campuses, but the trip also has its fringe benefits. Like: an entire day spent roaming the city with Blaine. Even if Blaine isn’t responding very gracefully to the unexpected attention that Kurt finds himself receiving.
This fic can be read as sequel to Possession Is Nine-Tenths Of The Law (jealous!Kurt) or it can be read alone. Kurt and Blaine are in New York looking at schools, obviously back in the good days where Blaine was not a year younger, and Kurt gets hit on a few times by different guys. He is surprised when Blaine acts uncharacteristically aggressive in response.
What’s Mine (Isn’t Yours) by Emilianadarling (PG-13/R)
On Blaine’s first day at McKinley, it takes him less than five minutes to realize that Dave Karofsky wants his boyfriend. And over the course of the next while, he can’t seem to stop himself from getting more and more bothered by it.
A delightful read where Dave is sneaky and sly, Kurt is oblivious, and Blaine is so not amused.

Invidia in E-Minor by Anonymous (WIP, GKM fill for this prompt, heed warnings)
AU where Kurt and Cooper are dating, and Kurt had never met Blaine at Dalton. Kurt and Cooper have been dating for a while, so Cooper brings Kurt home to meet his family. Blaine instantly thinks Kurt’s the most beautiful boy he’s ever seen and is totally smitten with him, but would never act on his feelings because he doesn’t want to be a home wrecker.
The more Cooper advances in his career the more he becomes egocentric and selfish. Kurt starts coming over more frequently and bonds with Blaine, and they become best friends with Kurt being totally oblivious to Blaine’s feelings for him.
I feel sure that by now my adoration for this story is obvious. It’s one that I do reaction posts for (*ahem* and happen to be behind on at the moment) and it is just so fantastic I do the happy dance when it updates. A lovely mix of canon and the Author’s own twist make this fic a must read in my book. I can’t wait for the de-anon so I can love on this person properly…
Now, as much as I love my jealous Blaine, possessive!Blaine makes me weak in the knees. So, if I may, I will list a few of those favorites here for your reading pleasure as well.
Turning Saints by saffronire (NC-17)
Kurt wants to take their relationship to the next level, but Blaine, fearing he won’t be able to control himself, is adamant they wait. Kurt decides that making Blaine jealous is the only way to get what he wants. This fic is a tasty mix of both jealous and possessive Blaine. It does contain some mild dub-con, so if that is a squick you might skip this one.
Come Here Boy by SugaKane01(WIP, M) (linking to S&C since FFnet is being so squirrelly these days)
What Blaine Anderson wants, Blaine Anderson gets and he’s determined that Kurt Hummel will be no exception. When Kurt becomes more than a conquest, Blaine shows just how far the boy who has everything is willing to go for love.
I LOVE this story. Truly, madly, deeply. The author uses season 2 canon and swirls it with pop culture and her own unique twist. Seriously, she had my undying love when she talked Thundercats.
Imagine a Dalton Academy where the boys that attend are born to excessive wealth and privilege. Morals and scruples are a dime a dozen. Emotions are cool and passions, whether it be lust or hatred, run hot. This is a semi dark!Blaine that has no compunction about lying, blackmailing, or manipulating others. Boys come easy to him and he has left plenty of broken hearts behind him. When he meets Kurt, he immediately views him as another notch on the bedpost. But things change, and Kurt becomes so much more. The first chapter is a lengthy Author’s note about her way of writing Blaine in this story. She understands that this story may not appeal to everyone and lays everything out for the reader, so it is a must read if you decide to check this fic out. If you do decide to, you absolutely won’t be sorry.
A Political Romance and A Legal Romance by YaDiva (NC-17) (again linking S&C because of FFnet concerns)
This is the one that, for me, at least, started it all with a wickedly delicious dark!Blaine. In APR, Blaine is the teenaged son of a conservative politician. But there is so much more to him than meets the eye. Blaine is dark and twisted, but when he meets Kurt he is instantly smitten. He decides that if he is hell, then Kurt must surely be heaven. ALR finds them in college and follows them throughout their relationship and how they were absolutely meant to be.
Before reading this, always heed the warnings. When YaDiva writes dark!Blaine, she doesn’t fuck around. Blaine is capable of torture and murder. He is wildly possessive and demanding. His and Kurt’s sexual relationship is heated and intense. Both stories contain graphic violence and sex. (There are a lot of BDSM elements but it isn’t a D/s story.) There are explicit descriptions of torture, some dub-con elements and a brief instance and referrals to non-con.
BUT.
They are two of the best stories I have ever read, Klaine or otherwise. I read APR as it was finishing, and I was blown away by it. So hot, so raw and elemental. Just hnnggghhh. I put YaDiva on alert so when the promised sequel released I could follow it. Somewhere along the way, I started leaving her these insanely long word vomit reviews where I literally drooled and flailed over what she had written and used up the entire character limit allowed for reviews on FFnet. Fortunately for me, rather than block me or take out a cyber restraining order, she reached out instead. And I can honestly say she is one of the loveliest people I have ever messaged with. Smart and über talented. (love you, lady! ❤ ) So, if dark!Blaine that is possessive and gets jealous at the drop of a hat sounds like something you need in your life, and seriously, who doesn’t, then check these stories out.
